BACHELOR IN OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY

Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology or B.Sc in OTT is a three year UG course in which the students learn about all the work and management related to operation theatre.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The objective of the programme is to make students familiar with the handling of latest equipments/instruments and know how's of various sophisticated surgical and operational procedures inside the Operation Theater. Students are expected to undergo basic theoretical and practical sessions in human anatomy and physiology, surgical/biomedical instruments, surgical procedures, anesthesia and drug administration etc. followed by a rigorous industrial training in a hospital with fully equipped Operation Theater.
